What a time of fun and infinite freedom. Frank (eyes ) was a great goofie, and loved nothing better than surfing all day if he could. A trip with him down the coast,or to his beloved “Spot” was always full on and a laugh guaranteed too.
Looking back,it was an innocent and adventure filled time !!! I am so thankful that I was there.
Surfing Bears New Years day ’75 with Kim Hunter, just amazing Bears too. Ran out of water and had to leave perfect 3 to 5 foot waves.
They were worry free times, and everyone had a sense of camaraderie that had to be experienced to be understood.

Hi Charlie. Thanks for your feedback. I have put a copy of your comment on Surfing Down South Facebook. There is a lot of chatter on Gary Gibbon’s blog on SDS FB.
