In March 1970 surf photographer/journo Ric Chan had his Memoirs of a Few Months Past story and photos published in America’s International Surfing magazine. Ric also scored center spread images in the magazine.
In this article our oriental correspondent scoots in and around some of the East Coast’s top wave spots in the late 60s. He travelled to the surf spots in his rusty gold VW Kombi with talented NSW surfer John Henneberry.
