On the weekend Yallingup surfer and part time beekeeper Mike ‘Bee’ Bibby removed a swarm of bees from the playground area on the Quindalup foreshore.

Mike Bibby – I got a call from Jim King on Saturday afternoon to say Loz Smith was trying to get in touch with me to let me know there was a bee swarm on the Quindalup foreshore. I rang Loz and found out where it was, got my gear together and met him down there. The video shows the action.
The swarm has been put in a hive and settled in at my place. Spring is a great time to catch swarms and Dean Beeby and I (Bibby & Beeby Bees) are always on the lookout for them.
