NZ surf photographer Ric Chan and his son Tao recently spent a couple of days in Margaret River with their friends Graham & Lesa Noakes. Tao has been touring overseas and hasn’t been back to Marg’s since he was 2.5 years old.
At the back end of their WA trip, the boys stayed with Steve Koehne at Avalon near Mandurah.
This is a collection of photos from their WA trip.

While in the South West, the duo viewed a display of Ric’s 70s Marg’s photos at Settlers Tavern, and were picked up as talent for a Margaret River Busselton Tourism Association photoshoot. The internationally targeted shoot was shot by local surf photographer Russell Ord at Olio Bello and Clairault Streiker. Ric and Tao also visited local surf spots during their stay.
