In the late 60s and 70s Trevor ‘TB’ Burslem was a WA surf photographer along with Greg Woodward and Ric Chan. TB was in the second wave of surf photographers after the pioneers Brian Cole, John Budge, Jim Keenan, Jim Breadsell, Murray D’Arcy and Tom Collins.
TB held administrative positions in the City Beach Surf Riders Club and WASRA. He used his Gasworks Surf Shop business and media skills to promote surfing in WA.
Sadly, in December 2006 Trevor passed away in Walpole after an illness.
In 2007 Trevor was posthumously awarded Surfing WA’s Len Dibben Award for his surfing Media & Promotion services in WA.
