Tom was attracted to the South West by Paul Witzig’s video footage of 1969 OZ Titles at Margaret River main break and not Yallingup, as I inadvertently stated in interview.
Tom’s friend Rob Mansell was with him when he got washed off Sugarloaf Rock in 2005.
A private cremation service was held for Tom on Friday 7 May 2021 in Bunbury.
Join Tom’s friends and celebrate his life on Saturday 15 May 2021. At midday there will be a paddle-out at Surfers Point for Tom followed by refreshments at the Margaret River District Club. 11 Tunbridge Street, Margaret River, WA.
Numbers limited to 100-150pp. A Donation Box will be handed around.
