Yallingup goofy footer Duke Nagtzaam was born & raised in the southwest and comes from a respected surfing family in the region. His mother Arlene was National Longboard Over 35’s division champion in 2004 and his father Mark has represented the State in the kneeboard division at National Titles.
In 2011 Duke was the reigning State U/12 boys champion, the Taj’s Small Fries U/12 champion and competed with the State U/16 team at the Australian Titles held at Coffs Harbour NSW.

2022 Duke crowned King of the Point at Trigg Beach
A decade later Duke is still powering in the waves. In March 2022 he was crowned King of the Point at the annual King of the Point event held at Trigg Beach.
