Sadly Brian Cole, Loz Smith, Peter Dyson, Ray Nelmes, Steve Russo & Tom Hoye have passed away since the event. RIP all.
While the Surfing Down South book is now out of print and only available in Public Libraries and second-hand bookshops, the Surfing Down South Web site & Facebook pages have posted nearly 1,000 WA surf history blogs since late 2013.
