The Witzig bros John & Paul (NSW) covered the 1969 Australian Surfing Championships at Margaret River for OZ surfing media.
In July 2021 The Surfers Journal posted Paul Witzig’s iconic video footage of 16 year old Wayne Lynch (and other East Coast surfers) surfing Margs to the sound of Ravell’s “Bolero” on Youtube.
This may be the same footage that lured the late Tom Hoye from Santa Cruz USA to Margs all those years ago!
