The Mazda K360 was a three wheeled mini-truck K-car made by Mazda. It went on sold in Japan from1959-71. It was ideally suited to the narrow and steep roads of that country. There was also a more powerful T600 version on the mini-truck. For more info click on Mazda K360 1959-71.
In 1964 Floreat surfer Steve ‘Stonk’ Fletcher was the proud owner of such a vehicle. Stonk and his surfing buddies Geoff Baxter and Gary Smith (decd) used the mini-truck as their metro surf wagon.

In 1964 Stonk and the lads drove it down south to Yallingup to view the first State Surfing Titles, it is assumed.
