Bill Gibson. “So lucky to be able to ride these boards. The Hawke family kindly let us borrow them from the Gallery. Camped out in preparation for an early wave, waxed boards and talked dreams. The day didn’t disappoint. A fine little beachy to hone the skills. Finished off with a counter lunch at the Karridale Tavern. Thanks heaps to surfers Jack Medland & Evan Ledger and videographer Andrew Bland from Mason Mediafor being part of the journey. So much fun! And yes, the boards lived up to the dreams. After their day in the sun and surf, the Hawke Tracker inspired a new surfboard from Jack Medland. He went straight back to the Moonshine factory and ripped into a stringer-lessblank.
Music by Yallingup musician Vance Burrow and others. Run time 21.21 mins.
