Vale Trevor ‘Kenmac’ Kenyon

Former State Surfer Trevor ‘Kenmac’ Kenyon succumbed to Motor Neuron Disease at home 16 August 2024 after a 9-month journey. He leaves behind two children and his sister and her family.

Kenmac was a popular member of the Dolphins Board Riders Club in the 70s and a good mate of Barry Young and his family.

Barry Young. We had a ” Scrumpy” party. Some form of ‘potent cider’ I think from Carnarvon. we bought to celebrate an eclipse of the moon the night before. A few hangovers when this was taken. This is all the crew that were at The Bluff in ’78. Turtles was still a secret and Gnaraloo, Centaries etc rarely surfed.“
