In 2015 the City of Busselton introduced a South West surfing pioneer theme to new rubbish bin casings at Yallingup Beach.
The bin casings showcase vintage surf photographs by surfing pioneers John Budge, Brian Cole, Cliff Hills, Mark Paterson and others.

These bin casings and the bronze Surf Pioneer sculpture erected 2011 have brightened up the foreshore at Yallingup.
