In mid-1983, former Cronulla NSW surfers Steve and Garry Rice established their own surfboard workshop, Sealines Fibreglass, in Capel, WA.
The Rice brothers sponsored Californian expatriates Vance and Nancy Burrow who were living/surfing in the Southwest, providing them with Sealines Fibreglass surfboards.
In 1985, Steve Rice designed a 9ft 2in Sealines Fibreglass windsurfer board for Vance.
