John Small, originally from the US, moved to Scarborough Beach, Western Australia, in the early 1980s and co-founded the Wavewalkers Longboard Club. His surfing photos of Western Australia and Indonesia have appeared in Australian and international media. In addition, he produced surfing videos. Now retired in Thailand, John spends half the year teaching yoga at Ashrams in India and no longer surfs.
