Jodie Cooper former pro surfer

Former Women’s pro surfer Jodie Cooper worked with the media team at the MR Pro 2018 event. Originally from Albany WA, the surfing legend now lives in northern NSW.

Jodie turned pro in 1983 and stayed on the Women’s Pro Tour for 11 years.

Click on this link Jodie Cooper for an overview of her pro surfing career.

Dunsborough photographer Bruce King took these happy snaps of Jodie with spectators at the event.

I am hopeful Jodie will share her recollections of the early days on the Women’s Pro tour and/or her 80s surf trips down south with Surfing Down South.
