Scarborough artist photographer, the late Peter Matulich (1959-2018) spent his weekends and spare time chasing waves and snapping surf photos down south in the 1980s.
In the summer of 1980, Peter and other surfers enjoyed warm weather, blue skies, offshore breezes and uncrowded fun waves on sand covered reefs in the Cape Naturaliste region.
Peter captured these summer fun images at Shallows (Yallingup) and Windmills (Cape Naturaliste) in 1980.
