John Balgarnie – Circa ’68 someone brought some old-fashioned swim suits into Cordingley’s surf shop in Hay Street Subiaco and the guys dressed up in them and went outside for a photo-shoot.

Cottesloe surfer John Balgarnie competed successfully at Club and State levels in the late 60s and 70s.
The popular goofy footer also travelled to East Coast surf spots and was a member of Cordingley’s surf team during this period.
