This is Tom’s overview of Peter Bevan ……

We have been the best of mates since we went to school together at Hale in ‘63 and surfed together from that time on.

Pete was a founder along with John & Ross Booth of the West End Boardriders Club that recruited Ricky Gath, Marty Rawlinson, Chris Fullston, Errol Considine and Col Ladhams.

He went on to a cadetship with the West Newspaper in the art department ( we were taught by famous WA artist Rob Juniper at school, but Pete is an absolute natural talent ).

Pete then went on to start up his own advertising business, which went through several morphs over the decades, lastly known as Campaignmakers.

Pete is just retired from the advertising industry.

He is a keen stand up paddle boarder today, and we recently did a surf trip to Lombok together.

Pete and his wife Deb have recently moved from Sorrento to Fremantle.

Cheers,

Tom Blaxell

Thanks Tom for Pete’s update.
