Peter Dunn profile

NZ surfer Peter Dunn came to WA in 1972 to surf and play rugby league for Cottesloe. Peter played rugby league from age 5 to 43 and represented WA in the 70s. During this period, he returned to NZ for a while, but returned to WA and continued surfing and playing rugby league.

In 1998 at age 43 he started the Whalebone Classic Longboard contest which is still a highlight on the Oz Longboard circuit.

From 2000 Pete ran the Fun’s Back Surf shop on the Cottesloe Beach front for 19 years.

He is now the proprietor of the Fun’s Back Surf shop on the Yallingup beach front.
