On a surf trip to the Maldives Yallingup surfer/musician Vance Burrow met a former WA surfer named Peter Barr at Pasta Point.
Vance Burrow – Peter hung out with WA surfer Gary Greirson back in the 70s. He showed me an old photo of Gary with farm animals at Margaret River. Peter was a really cool guy and had amazing world travel stories.

Gary Greirson – The year was 1977, it was Hassa Mann’s house on the corner of Caves Rd and Prevelly Road at Margaret River. Pete Barr was a surf photographer and lived close by, we hung out one summer. He chased a girl named Jenny to Canada. Some of his pics appeared in West Country Surf mag in the early 80s.

Gary manufactured Greirson Surfboards and was also a successful male model in the 80s.

In the 2000s Gary added another string to his bow and became a wine maker in the South West.
