Dunsborough surfer Rachael Dawe has been working as a Mid-Wife, Nurse & Medic travelling between Dunsborough, Exmouth and Indonesia.
She is now working as a nurse for the Royal Flying Doctor Service in Broome WA.
Rachael is an accomplished surfer and some of her surf memorabilia is on display at the WA Surf Gallery, Aravina Estate, Yallingup.

It’s been 6 months since starting with the Royal Flying Doctor service- what an adventure! Still putting lots of effort in and making sure the communities and people are safe.

Sometimes on huge tides there are little waves which are fun
to have a paddle and little grovel on a soft top.
Little point break with some micro peelers near James Price Point north of Broome. Thread fin salmon in the Dampier Creek….in search of a barramundi. With a wallaby named “NUTS” at Windjana Gorge and Tunnel Creek at start of the Gibb River Road. Beautiful artwork and local culture at the Mowanjum Arts & Cultural Centre just out of Derby town. Camping missions on days off with the dinghy. Having a go at spear fishing some blue bone for dinner on the campfire. Bent over Boab tree in Derby. My surfboards in Broome.
