Subiaco surfer Steve ‘Sheepdog’ Cockburn was a talented surfer with a liking for solid waves in the 60s & 70s. He competed late into the 70s at the State level.
Steve was initially a member of the City Beach Surf Riders Club before joining Craig ‘Clarry’ Brent-White’s elite Sand n Sea Surf Riders Club in the late 60s.
