Vale Colin Taylor 1938-2022

COLIN TAYLOR AN EARLY SURFER FROM THE FIFTIES PASSED AWAY IN BRISBANE AGED 84.

HE HAD A TWIN BROTHER ARTY WHO NOW RESIDES IN BARBADOS.

COLIN WAS A CLOSE FRIEND OF BRIAN COLE AND RAY GEARY.

WE SURFED TOGETHER AT YALLS AND OTHER SW BEACHES.

CAUGHT UP WITH HIM IN SYDNEY BEFORE HE MOVED TO TWEED HEADS AND AMONGST OTHER THINGS RAN A PRAWN TRAWLER OUT OF THE TWEED COAST.

AFTER THAT HE PURCHASED TWO CABS ON THE GOLD COAST BEFORE IF I AM RIGHT, HE MOVED TO STRADBROKE ISLAND OFF MORTON BAY AND RETIRED.

SAD NEWS BUT QUITE A FEW OF US ARE NOW IN “GODS WAITING ROOM”

CHEERS

JIM KEENAN.
