60s Video

1967 Kevin O’Dwyer’s work ute at Surf Beach

The late Kevin O’Dwyer was a popular member of the City Beach Surf Riders Club in the late 60s.

On CBSR club outings to Surf Beach near Mandurah Kevin drove his red Holden work ute onto the beach sand and chauffeured surfers to the best surf breaks and/or towed them on towels along the beach front.

Wonder what his employer thought when Kevin turned up at work in the battered work ute after a weekend at the beach!!!!!

They were fun times in the 60s😊

Rest in Peace Kevin.
