Former New Zealander Peter Dunn of Funs Back Surf Shop (formerly Cottesloe now Yallingup) and Whalebone Longboard Classic fame started surfing in NZ in 1968.
Peter. “Back in 1968 I recorded my memoirs and drew a picture of my first surf at Mount Maunganui in the Bay of Plenty in NZ. Later I handed my memoirs to a friend Beverley and was amazed to find out years later she still carried them around in her wallet 😊”
