The surfing community is mourning the loss of WA surf industry pioneer, Len Hawke, who passed away on Monday, aged 85. Len started the Hawke surfboard dynasty in 1958, along with his brothers Bill and Peter. The trio became innovators in surfboard design and materials, which left a long-lasting legacy on the modern surfboard industry.

As a tribute to Len, we’re bringing back the documentary, ‘Return to the Water’, which pays homage to Hawke Surfboards and contains interviews with Len himself. Watch below.
