1963 Scarborough Beach

The North End Board Club at Scarborough was one of the first WA board clubs formed in the early 60s. Members went on to build a club shack at Prevelly Park, Margaret River and help pioneer the development of surfing in the SW.

Murray d’Arcy, one of the founding members of the North End Board Club in Scarborough, was passionate about photography and captured these classic Scarborough Beach photographs in 1963.
