Award-winning journalist, photographer, filmmaker and public speaker Tom de Souza wrote a story Tom Hoye and Da Claw for the April 2021 edition of Tracks surfing magazine. It commemorated the passing of Margaret River surfer & surfboard craftsman Tom Hoye on 28 April 2021 at the age of 74.

2026 Vintage Surfboards Swap Meet
Tom Hoye Surfboards will be celebrated at the annual Vintage Surfboards Swap Meet, to be held this year in Vasse on Sunday 8 November 2026 (see poster below). Come along and display your Hoye surfboard and/or windsurfer at the event.
